Carlos Edwards couldn't hide his disappointment after Town's winning run came to end at the hands of Brighton.
Blues fell to a 3-0 defeat at the Amex Stadium, with Craig Mackail-Smith and a brace from Ashley Barnes sending Town to defeat on the south coast, despite Michael Chopra seeing a goal disallowed early in the second-half.
"It's disappointing because we came here in confident mood on the back of four consecutive wins," Town's stand-in skipper told the Club website.
"You have to give credit to Brighton as they are a decent team and caused us a few problems today, but we're disappointed to have lost the game 3-0.
"I think overall it was a good game of football and on another day we could have taken something from the game if we had converted a few of our earlier chances.
"But that's football and we need to put this result behind us and focus on the next game."
