Tamworth have signed veteran Trinidad and Tobago international striker Clint Marcelle and he will make his debut on Saturday against Dagenham and Redbridge, hoping to be the one to end the Lambs' five and a half hour goal drought.
He joins on-loan Reading defender Louie Soares as the new-boys in Tamworth's side as they seek to avoid being dragged into the relegation mire after four defeats in their last five matches.
Marcelle played a handful of games for Grimsby Town this season, having spent last season at Scarborough and Stevenage. The well-travelled striker has also played for Felgueiras, Barnsley, Scunthorpe, Hull, Darlington, Harrogate and Hucknall.
He had hinted at wanting to pursue a career in the United States after his career in England seemed to be hitting a brick wall, but he will now hope to establish himself at Tamworth.
