Former Dundee defender Brent Sancho won’t be joining Dundee United.

The Trinidad and Tobago international, who was released by the Dark Blues, followed Lee Miller in becoming the latest name associated with the Tangerines.

However, United boss Gordon Chisholm today described any possible move for Sancho as “nonsense”.

“I’m not sure where this has come from, but it’s nonsense,” said Gordon. “I’ve never shown any interest in Sancho.”

It’s believed Motherwell and Falkirk are keen on the 28-year-old, whose Dens contract has expired.

Meanwhile, the United boss also admitted he was also in the dark regarding reports of central defender David McCracken heading for Hibs and midfielder Stephen Glass moving in the opposite direction.
