Crewe Alexandra goalkeeper Clayton Ince is back in training at Reaseheath and will give Dario Gradi a decision on his future before Thursday's contract deadline. Ince was left out of the Gold Cup squad following a reported bust-up with Trinidad and Tobago coach Leo Beenhakker and although Ince has not retired from International duty, he was left out for the squad of 23 with the unattached Shaka Hislop recalled to the squad instead.
Not that Ince would have minded too much with his club future still very much in the air. The Alex stopper who finished the season as the current number one is pondering the offer of a two-year deal.
Dario Gradi has not been able to hold too much communication with the former Defence Force keeper due to Ince's incredible International commitments, but he remains hopeful that the 32-year-old will remain at the club he has served so well over the last six seasons.
Dario will also be waiting to hear from the out-of-contract Adie Moses, Colin Murdock, and Neil Sorvel. The boss will also seek talks with his captain Kenny Lunt concerning his future before announcing his squad for the training week in Portugal.
