TRINIDAD AND Tobago midfielder Keron Cummings is currently on trial with MLS Club Orlando City.

Cummings, who scored in Trinidad and Tobago’s 3-3 draw with Mexico last Friday, joined the club a few days later.

Orlando City officials were actually eager to have the player join them directly after the match but the North East Stars player opted to return home before joining national teammate Kevin Molino at the club alongside Brazilian Kaka.

The club is reportedly very keen on signing the player. Cummings, nicknamed “Ball Pest”, also netted a double in TT ’s 4-4 draw with Mexico at the Concacaf Gold Cup. Cummings was born in Diego Martin and grew up in Simeon Road, Petit Valley.

He says his uncle Junior Cummings was his source of inspiration growing up.

The former W Connection and Central FC player made his debut in the Senior Team under Russell Latapy in a friendly international away to Chile in 2010.

He was absent from the national setup for some time after that but has been given a new life under Hart.
