DEFENDER Jamal Jack has left local professional league champions Central FC and is headed to El Salvador where he has joined C.D. Dragón, a team which finished sixth in the top flight last season.
A versatile utility player, Jack has played across the back line, in midfield and even up front during his time with Central FC, with whom he has won two Caribbean Championship titles. The Dragons have recruited the 28-year-old defender in a bid to strengthen the backline ahead of upcoming CONCACAF Champions League (CCL) competition. They begin on August 3 when travelling to the USA to meet the Portland Timbers and they are also due to meet Costa Rican champions Saprissa.
Jack had previously had an overseas stint playing for Alpha in Guyana and also has one international cap for Trinidad and Tobago, a friendly international against Panama.
