Following his lively performance in Minnesota United’s 4-0 thumping of DC United last weekend in which he had two assists Kevin Molino was named in Major League Soccer’s Team of the Week.

However, the midfield attacker was listed as questionable for last night’s League fixture against Joevin Jones’ Seattle Sounders after rolling his ankle the previous week. But Molino is not expected to be in any serious danger and should be firing again soon.

“For me, I just need to keep smiling and enjoy what I do,” Molino said after the win against DC United. “Tonight was a night I was rewarded. Not just the assists, but for us as a group, we did well. We have to stay patient and progress as a team together.”

Meantime, T&T winger Nathan Lewis, after scoring one in San Juan Jabloteh’s 6-2 loss to Santos of Costa Rica in the Concacaf League last Wednesday, was named in the Concacaf “Team of the Week” for the opening round. Central FC goalkeeper Stephon Seepersad also made the team of the week for his showing in the club;s 2-1 loss to Arabe Unido of Panama.

“It was a difficult game for us but I am thankful to have come out with a goal and hopefully we can turn it around when we play them in Trinidad this coming week. We have to simply put our heads down and deliver on the day and at least try to come away with a victory,” Lewis said.
