Richard Money has hinted he may play Hector Sam in tomorrow night's game against Manchester United. The Walsall boss was impressed by the triallist's performance in Saturday's clash against Albion. Sam is expected to train with the Saddlers today and may play a part against Sir Alex Ferguson's men.

But Money has yet to decide whether he will sign the former Port Vale man. "I'll sleep on it," said Money. "He will come in today and tomorrow and may even play against Manchester United. "He's not 100 per cent fit but he showed enough good signs on Saturday to suggest he might be useful. But we are a long way from having his signature on any contract. "We'd love to bring another forward in - whether that's Hector Sam we'll have to see."

Money was pleased by his side's display against Albion, despite their unfortunate defeat through Anthony Gerrard's own goal. "I thought it was a useful work-out for both teams," added Money. "I am happy with the way things are going. We played with good shape, good tempo, good movement and we looked dangerous. "We missed some good chances and the signs are that we are moving in the right direction."
