ROY KEANE has issued a hands-off warning after Chelsea were linked with a £10 million move for striker Kenwyne Jones.
The Trinidad & Tobago targetman has been a huge hit since joining Sunderland from Southampton in August in a £6m deal, scoring four goals in 13 games so far.
After reports that Chelsea are interested in Jones as a replacement for the injured Didier Drogba, Keane has reassured fans that Jones will not be leaving Wearside.
And the Black Cats boss insists that Sunderland will be in the business of strengthening their squad in January, not dismantling it.
“Kenwyne’s going nowhere,” he said. “I’m looking to add to the squad, not lose players.
“There will be one or two players leaving in January, of course, but I certainly don’t intend to sell any of my key players.
“But there will always be media speculation at this time of the year.”
