Chester City striker Angus Eve will be returning to the club next season, report BBC Radio Merseyside.

The Trinidadian international has agreed to remain at the Deva Stadium despite the club's unfortunate relegation to the Conference.

Eve scored a wonder goal for Trinidad in their World Cup qualifying victory against Canada last week - and Chester believe he could soon be rated in the £1m bracket.

Chairman Terry Smith said: "He's a tremendous player. His skill on the ball is remarkable and I expect him to have a big impact in the Conference because he'll get more space."
