Jake Thomson in T&T colors.Cheltenham Town have today signed wing duo Medy Elito and Jake Thomson on loan ahead of the weekend's clash with Stevenage.

Medy, who spent time on loan here last season, has signed a deal until the end of the season while Exeter flanker Jake Thomson has signed an initial one month loan here at the Abbey Business Stadium.

"They both have pace and they're both wide players which is of course what we have been looking for," said Robins manager Mark Yates.

"They're young and good footballers so they should give us fresh energy and help to get us back on track. It has taken longer than I wanted to be honest because of injuries but I think it'll prove worthwhile.

"They have both played at this level as well as above it. We're getting two very good players and I'm looking forward to working with both of them. Both will go straight into the squad for tomorrow's game."

Medy, who started his career with Colchester United, made 12 appearances in the red and white of Cheltenham Town last season and scored three goals in that period. He was loaned out to Dagenham & Redbridge this season and made ten appearances for the League One outfit scoring two goals.

Jake Thomson began his career with Southampton in 2005 and was promoted into the first team by 2008. He made his debut for the Saints in a Championship clash with Cardiff City before spending loan spells with both Bournemouth and Torquay United.

The 21 year-old, who has two international caps for Trinidad & Tobago, made four appearances for Southampton in League One before being released in May. He signed for the Grecians in July 2010 but has been limited to just one starting and ten substitute appearances.
