Former Trinidad and Tobago U-20 and Caledonia AIA defender Randanfah Abu Bakr has returned to the Morvant based Pro League club.

The Kingston University of London student has returned home during his break from school and would play for the 'Stallions' until the end of September.

Caledonia AIA assistant Coach Jerry Moe was delighted to confirm the 20 year old defender status saying, "We have Radanfah with us and this is good news for the club. He has signed with us at a good time and we are very happy to have him."

Randanfah has been training with Caledonia in the last couple of days and is very impressed with the improvements in his team and the League.

Speaking with 'ttproleague.com' Randanfah said, "The League has improved a lot since I last played here. It is much more competitive this season and I am excited to be part of all this." He added, "I used to watch our(Caledonia) matches this season on the net(ttproleague.com) while I was in England and I was very impressed with the way we have played," said the former national U-20 captain.

He continued, "We were always a great team in the past, but just that we lacked the desire to win matches not having won anything in the recent past. But this season we have players with the drive and passion such as Marvin Oliver and we are getting the results."
Caledonia AIA are second on the League table and Randanfah believes his team deserves every bit of the glory adding. "The team has really worked hard this season. All the guys are putting out their best and I believe we deserve to be in the front running," said the lanky defender.

Randanfah who last played for the 'Stallions' back in October of 2006 is now focused on getting back to his regular form.

"I just want to fit back into the setup at Caledonia. Our next match is on Tuesday and I would love to play, but that's up to the coaches," said the Caledonia AIA defender.

Randanfah also has aspirations of being selected on the T&T national senior team in the near future saying, "I spoke with Coach Wim(Rijsbergen) recently and he said that he would be at the Pro League matches. He(Wim Rijsbergen) said that I would have a fair chance just as any of the other players. I want to be on the national senior team and I would do my part as a player but the rest is up to the national coaches," ended the Kingston University student.

He is expected to leave Trinidad at the beginning of October for England where he would begin his final year at the Kingston University to complete his degree in Business Management.
