Superstar Rangers and Trinidad and Tobago midfielder Kerwyn Jemmott could possibly be out of action for the next three weeks and may miss his trial in Hungary following his dislocated left shoulder sustained on Saturday in his team’s 1-0 loss to San Juan Jabloteh at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.

“The doctor says that he should not play or the next three weeks,” confirmed Rangers Manager Richard Piper speaking with ‘ttproleague.com’. “But if you were to ask Jemmott himself, he would say that he is ok to play,” added Piper.

Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Godfrey Araujo relocated Jemmott’s shoulder at the St Clair Medical Hospital after he sustaining the injury in only his second match since coming back from a hamstring injury sustained before the CONCACAF Gold Cup in June.

Jemmott is expected to make another visit to an Orthopedic Surgeon on Wednesday which would determine the seriousness of his injury and this was confirmed by Piper who said, “We would know for certain how serious his(Jemmott) injury is by Wednesday after he visits the doctor again. We would also know by then if he has to undergo an operation and how long exactly he would be out for,” said Piper.

According to Piper’s predictions, Jemmott said that he is fit to play for Rangers at anytime.

Speaking with ‘ttproleague.com’ the T&T international said, “It’s nothing to really talk about. This is not the first time it has happened to me.”

According to Jemmott his first experience with the dislocated shoulder came last year, and since then it re-occurred a couple times thereafter.

Jemmott went on to explain, “This is about the fourth time this has ever happened to me but this time I think it was the worst.”

Switching his comments to his team’s recent performances with three back-to-back defeats Jemmott believes Rangers can recover in time to come.

“I think that the guys are not really focused as they should be and that’s just my take on it. I can’t say what causes it but I can say one thing, there are still a lot of matches to go this season and we would bounce back.”

Since the break Rangers suffered four losses with just one win which came against Police FC in a 4-3 win.
