New TT Pro League club T&TEC FC not only glows its strength in a number of hot pre-season signings ahead of the 2011-2012 Digicel Pro League Championship which kicks off on Friday 9 September.

Last month during the club’s official team unveiling at the T&TEC’s Ottley Building, Mt. Hope, T&TEC FC revealed some of its ambitions as a professional club which included possible partnerships with American and English clubs.

During his speech, T&TEC Chairman Omar Khan said that the club seeks to build academy partnerships with United States Premier Development League club Ocean City and English Championship club Reading FC.

“We are currently in talks with Neil Holloway, General Manager of Ocean City in the United States and Lee Herron Director of Youth Football at Reading Football Club in England about potential partnerships,” said Khan, a former West Indies Cricket Team

“They have already accepted invitations to do a camp for our club here in Trinidad and iron out the final details of our potential partnership,” said Khan, who is a former West Indies Cricket Team Manager and present Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Team Manager.

On the pitch of professional football, the club acquired former England based and Trinidad and Tobago World Cup goalkeeper Clayton Ince as its biggest signing.

During pre-season the club also signed on Clayton Morris as Technical Director.

Dexter Cyrus will continue as Head Coach, Desmond Bailey (Assistant Coach), Ince (Goalkeeper/Assistant Coach), former player Joel Bailey (Assistant Coach/Assistant Team Coordinator), T&T goalkeeping coach Jefferson George (Goalkeeper Coach), Adarayll John (Trainer), Ian Dore (Physiotherapist), Peter Mohan (Manager), Melvin Springer (Assistant Manager) and Lester Lal (Team Coordinator).

Defensive midfielder Brent Garcia will wear the captain’s armband in the team that includes last season’s Super League top scorer Kevon Neaves, goalkeeper Akini Adams (T&T international), defenders Akeem Adams (T&T international), Anthony Noreiga (former T&T international), Brenton De Leon, Coneal Thomas (former T&T U23 player), Eustace Darius, Javed Mohammed, Kern Peters, Marc Hunte, Timothy John, Weslie John, midfielders Sylvester Teesdale (former T&T U23 player), Tigana Sparks, Romauld Aguillera (former T&T international), Simeon Augustus, Jamal Ayres, Keeron Benito, Kelvin Modeste, Brent Garcia, Cebastien Bailey, Andrei Pacheco (T&T international) and Bevon Bass and forwards Bevon Lewis, Kurlon Ferguson and Vurlon Mills (Guyanese international).
