Jason Charles and Oswin Williams both bagged braces, as Football Factory whipped FC1 7-0, to move to the top of the Northern Football Association Premier Division on Saturday.
Charles and Williams got support from Kerry Methad, Reagan Gaulteau and Stephen Grey, each of whom scored one goal. The win put Football Factory a point over Queen’s Park Cricket Club, in Group B, with the league campaign nearing an end.
In Group A, Petit Valley emerged 2-1 winners over bottom placed St Ann’s Rangers, to go within two points of the table-toppers St Francois. Former Pro League player Kenaz William and Lindy Chaindy scored Petit Valley’s goals, while Marlon Forde got his team’s only item.
Today, action will switch to the League Cup round-of-16, with four matches to be played. A further three League Cup matches will be played on Thursday. Also on Thursday, the NFA FA Cup will take place at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo, from 8 pm, when QPCC, takes on Police.
