Action in the 2012 Eddie Hart Football League Knock out (KO) competition will kick-off today at the Eddie Hart Savannah (EHS) in Tacarigua, following the draw at the Tacarigua Community Centre last week. Big 8 play-offs qualifier Trincity Nationals will fancy its chances to move on to the next stage when they open against winless Sparta FC in the lone affair carded for tonight.
Tomorrow, House of Dread, another Big 8 contender, will have a harder task against a tricky Small Stars oufits, which were denied of a Big 8 spot after they were edged out by Trincity Nationals for fourth-place in Group One, while on Thursday, Parliament will be looking to savage some pride this season, when they tackle underdogs El Dorado Youth Organisation.
All three games start at 7 pm. The KO action will take a break to accommodate play from the under-21 division and resume on Sunday with Macoya FC and Valtrin United.
