A hat-trick from Nigel John inspired Big Dreams United to its sixth victory of the campaign as it remained on top the Roy Jagroopsingh Group A of the Southern Football Association (SFA) Petrotrin Super League, following a 5-0 drubbing of Valley Line United, on Saturday.
John’s three goals together with Anderson Toussaint and Kevin Forrester’s items kept Big Dreams United three points ahead of its neartest challenger in Group A, UTT, which won its fifth consecutive match of the season, this time 2-0 over Cedal Hill Utd.
Dwayne Nicome and Trent Lougheed were on target as UTT kept its perfect record, but with two matches in hand.
In the Winston St Clair Group B, Penal All Stars went within two points of leader Point Fortin CC, with a 2-0 victory over Centre For Excellence.
