Darryl Smith, Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs has accepted an invitation to attend the closing ceremony of Gally’s Football Finishing School (GFFS), which takes place today at 5 p.m.

Smith will be on hand to distribute certificates of participation to players who attended the Port of Spain Clinic conducted at the practice field of the Hasely Crawford Stadium.

The clinic was held during the period August 14-23 and was attended by 62 players drawn from communities along the East West corridor. The programme was made possible through the kind sponsorship of the National Lotteries Control Board.

Everald “Gally” Cummings, founder of GFFS was pleased with the response of players to coaching methods employed since it was easily adaptable to their natural rhythms.
