Stokley Vale and Valtrin United both kicked off their T&T Football Federation (T&TFF) Champion of Champions Tournament with victories on Saturday. Stokely Vale, the Tobago Football Association Premier Division champions, blanked South zone champions Siparia Spurs, 2-0 in their encounter at the Plymouth Recreational Ground, Tobago while Eastern Football Association kings Valtrin eked out a 1-0 win over Northern Football Association’s Petit Valley United at Squadron Ground, Tunapuna.

At Plymouth, Khrishawn Joseph fired Stokely Vale into an 11th minute while Trevonne James sealed the points with his 31st minute item.

Kenan Osbourne was the hero for Valtrin with a 52nd minute strike to steal all three points. The five-team round-robin competition continues on Saturday with two more matches. At the end of the series, the top two teams will gain promotion to the bmobile National Super League.
