League champions, Eagles, are out of the Sanitank League Cup in the Central Football Association.
The Enterprise team was knocked out of the competition last Thursday, losing 1-0 to Leeds United on the Woodford Lodge ground. The lone goal came off the boot of former national Under-20 player Trent Lougheed in the 75th minute.
Caroni Connection, which was the only team to defeat Eagles before its defeat to Leeds United, advanced by shutting out Harlem Strikers 3-0 on Monday at the same venue. Kelon Alexander netted a double in the 48th and 52nd minutes with Malcolm Nedd getting the other goal in the 42nd minute.
Couva Sports booked a semifinal meeting with Caroni Connection tomorrow by beating Balmain 3-0 on penalty kicks after the teams were tied 3-3 at the end of regulation time.
