NATIONAL SUPER LEAGUE leaders WASA FC look for a sixth win this season when they take to the road for a 4 p.m. meeting today with Bethel FC in Montomgery, Tobago.
WASA are now four points clear atop the standings after veteran Stern John got the only goal on Sunday when they beat Real Maracas 1-0 in a St Joseph derby.
John, Trinidad and Tobago’s record goal-score at international level, scored for the second successive match when striking the a 43rd minute winner.
On Sunday, Coosal’s Las Lomas Utd also notched a 2-1 win over Joe Public, while Malabar FC drew 0-0 with T&T Defence Force. Another of today’s interesting matches sees star-studded Malabar travelling to Madras ground, Cunupia for a clash with Las Lomas United.
