Stokely Vale whipped Harvard 3-0 on Sunday to move to third place in the bmobile National Super League standings.
At the Dibe Recreation Ground in St James, Stokely Vale cruised to the win with goals from Dion Thomas, Yasha Brown and Trevonne James, in the 14th, 39th and 78th minutes respectively.
That defeat was Harvard’s fourth in five games, and they are in tenth place in the 11-team event.
And 1976 FC Phoenix is in second spot after holding off Club Sando 2-1 at Canaan, Bon Accord.
Shelton Williams (23rd) and Lejandro Williams (59th) found the back of the net for Phoenix, while Derron Matthews pulled one back for Sando in the 90th.
Two games will take place tomorrow with TTEC hosting St Francois Nationals at the Palo Seco Recreation Ground and Defence Force visiting Valtrin at the NUGFW Ground, Valsayn.
In related news, tomorrow’s scheduled game between Queen’s Park and Joe Public has been delayed for 24 hours due to Joe Public’s Pro League team’s involvement in the CONCACAF Champions League, against Mexican team Santos, at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya.
The Queen’s Park-Joe Public game will take place at the Queen’s Park Oval on Thursday at 4 pm.
