San Juan Jabloteh continued their winning ways at the start of the second round last Sunday in the Malta Carib 2015 Youth Pro League with wins over home side Police FC in the Under-13, Under-15 and Under-17 divisions at the St. James Barracks.
A double by Tyrique Sutherland (43rd and 69th minutes) and a late Jardel Johan (73rd minute) earned U-13 leaders Jabloteh (28 points) a comfortable 3-0 win over Police in the Round Two Match Day One fixture.
While a hat-trick by Kesean St Rose (58th, 73rd and 80th minutes) following an own goal in the 48th minute saw the U-15 leaders Jabloteh (28 points) defeat Police 4-0.
Jabloteh later wrapped up the day by edging Police 1-0 in the U-17 division thanks to a 2nd minute goal scored by Trey Hanley.
The San Juan club stands tied on 21 points with W Connection, 2-0 winners over Club Sando, and three points adrift of U-17 leaders North East Stars (24 points).
Shobal Celestin scored twice in the second half to lift Connection over Sando in the U-17 division, after the “Savonetta Boys” were shocked in a 0-0 draw in the U-13 division but managed a slim 1-0 win in the U-15 division against the Sando, thanks to a 65th minute Nikel Rawlins strike.
North East Stars continued their miserable form in the U-13 division with a 4-0 loss to Defence Force before managing a 3-3 draw in the U-15 division against the visitors at the Ojoe Road Recreation Ground in Sangre Grande.
But a goal each from Renaldo Francois (44th minute) and Brian Williams (88th minute) secured full points in a 2-0 win for the home side against Defence Force in the U-17 division.
Caledonia AIA (27 points), second on the U-13 standings, kept within one point of Jabloteh after defeating home side Point Fortin Civic 5-2 at the Mahaica Oval.
Gervan Williams (42nd minute), Atiba Weeks (49th minute), Kareem Trotman (52nd minute), Isaiah Villaroel (69th minute) scored a goal each for the U-13s after Caledonia had taken the lead in the 5th minute courtesy an own goal, while Ezekiel Kezar (53rd minute) and Thaj Neptune (60th minute) were the scorers for Civic.
Caledonia went on to defeat Civic 2-0 in the U-15 division but were on the wrong side of a 2-1 score in the U-17 division. (See below for full Round Two Match Day One results, standings and upcoming fixtures.)
