San Juan Jabloteh are the champions of the 2017 Flow Youth Pro League Under-15 division, completing a three-peat in the middle division with two games to spare.

Tyrese Pierre, with only his second goal of the season, earned the eventual champions, Jabloteh, a 1-0 win over tail-enders Morvant Caledonia United last Sunday at the San Juan North Secondary School ground.

Jabloteh, champions of all divisions in the previous two seasons, have amounted an unassailable 40 points in the U15 division, leaving Point Fortin Civic (30 points), Police FC (30 points and a game in hand) and W Connection (29 points) in a tight race for second.

Jabloteh’s Under-13 and Under-17 sides are also hoping to complete the three-peat this season, and maintained their places at the top of the respective standings with impressive score-lines against their neighbours.

Jabloteh U13s, led by a handful from goal-machine Nathaniel James, trashed Morvant Caledonia 17-0—the biggest win of the season—in the first game of the day at the Bourg Malatrese venue.

James, who scored his first beaver-trick a week ago, went one better by scoring five times—his new personal best of a game in the FYPL—to put his tally at 36 goals this season, while teammates Jaheim Faustin and Trevlon Weekes scored a hat-trick and double respectively.

Lindell Sween, Kanye Baker, Kyle Dwarika, Nkosi Ambrose, Hakim Lord, Israel Joseph chipped in with a goal each for Jabloteh, and an own goal on the hour mark also contributed to the heavy Morvant Caledonia U13s defeat.

Jabloteh (43 points) though, are only ahead of Police FC on the U13 standings by a superior goal-difference and must face North East Stars and Defence Force in remaining matches this season.

Police, meanwhile, kept level on points in the two-team U-13 title chase with a 3-1 win over Central FC and are against Point Fortin Civic and Morvant Caledonia in their remaining matches.

Jaheim Marshall scored a first-half double at the D'Abadie Recreation Ground for the little Blues and Nathaniel Carrim made it three nil in the second half before Kyle Ramdoo grabbed a consolation item for the Couva Sharks who went on to lose 2-1 in the U15s, but held Police to a 2-2 draw in the U17s.

Jabloteh U17s however, moved closer to the divisions crown with an 11-0 mauling of Morvant Caledonia, who conceded four from the penalty spot.

Eight points clear at the top of the U17 standings with two games left, Jabloteh (39 points) got goals Nickel Orr, who ended with a hat-trick, a double from Jodel Brown, and a goal each from Lukman Brooks, Tyrese Bailey, Emmanuel John, Kidane Lewis, Roshawn Laidow and Trevin Thomas.

Second-placed North East Stars (31 points and a game in hand) are the only team with a mathematical chance at upsetting Jabloteh to the U17 crown, but dropped vital points in a 2-2 draw against third-placed W Connection (30 points).
