T&T Football Federation special advisor, Jack Warner said it was too early for Fifa to switch the June 10 Concacaf Final Round World Cup qualifier away to Mexico in Mexico City.
Asked if Fifa was looking at the possibility of finding a new venue for the match which is expected to be played at the Azteca Stadium, Mexico City, the heart of the swine flu pandemic, Warner, the Fifa vice-president and Concacaf boss replied: “The T&T versus Mexico is more than a month away, but we at Fifa and Concacaf are keeping an eye on the situation and will make a decision when the time comes.”
