DIEGO MARTIN Central captured the Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) Girls Big 4 title on Sunday at the St Mary’s Ground in St Clair.
The Diego Martin squad needed kicks from the penalty spot to defeat Fyzabad Secondary 3-1, after the scores were locked at 2-2 at the end of regulation time.
On Thursday, in the semi-final phase, Diego Martin got the better of Signal Hill Secondary 3-1 at the St Joseph’s Convent Ground while Fyzabad pipped St Augustine Secondary 2-1 at the Holy Cross College Ground in Arima.
