Providence Girls High School continued their winning ways in the Secondary Schools Football League Girls Championship, slamming Corpus Christi 11-0 at the Queen's Park Savannah, Port of Spain on Sunday.

Providence got a hat-trick from Akeisha De La Rosa, as well as two goals apiece from Samantha Kissoon, Brittany Farah and Stephanie Woo Ling to grab an emphatic victory, after a 3-1 win over St Joseph's Convent PoS in their season opener last week. Also hitting the mark for Providence were Tanya Harris and Chrystal-Ann Taylor Lewis, who scored one goal each.

And St Joseph's got their first stroke in the wins column with a comprehensive 5-1 triumph over Blanchisseuse High School at their ground on Serpentine Road, despite it being the North Coast side's home match.

Tiana Bateau and Megan Murray each contributed a brace to the St Joseph's effort, while the other goal came off a Blanchisseuse player.

The other North Zone contest saw Maple Leaf run away 2-0 winners over Malick Secondary, thanks to a Malick own goal and another item from second half substitute Samantha Maingot.

In the East, St Augustine Secondary shut out San Juan North Secondary 5-0, and El Dorado East Secondary put nine unanswered goals past Bishop's East. Six of those goals came from El Dorado's Patrice Campbell.

And in South, defending national champs Debe Secondary thumped five past Pleasantville for an easy 5-0 win, while Fyzabad Secondary stopped Moruga Secondary 3-0.

A soggy outfield, caused by heavy rainfall, prevented the contest between Point Fortin East Secondary and Holy Faith Convent at Penal.
