El Dorado provided what could be described as the upset of yesterday's BGTT Secondary Schools Football League East Zone action with a 4-0 thrashing away to zonal big guns, the "Green Machine" of St Augustine Secondary Comprehensive.
The "Blue Thunder" crashed loudly in the form of national striker Jamal Gay, who hit the net within the first 16 minutes to get the scoreboard moving.

Joseph Brown buried a through pass from Darren Prescott to double up for "El Do" before half-time. Shane Hospedales added to their tally to make it 3-0 after the break, while Neil Mitchell struck fiercely from outside the 18-metre box off a corner, to bury El Dorado's fourth and seal St Augustine's fate.

In the North Zone, St Mary's College banged in three goals to get past Mucurapo Secondary at Serpentine Road, St Clair.

And national Under-16 captain Jerrel Britto hit the target for QRC in the 15th minute to lift them past Malick Secondary Comprehensive at the Hasely Crawford Stadium by a 1-0 margin, while Kevon Durham's brace, and a Kern Robinson item in between that, helped Fatima beat Trinity College 3-0 at Fatima's Mucurapo Road ground.

In the Southland, "Naps" edged Princes Town 2-1 at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella, after Presentation San Fernando had slipped past Siparia 1-0.

Vessigny's home advantage counted for a 2-0 win over Pleasantville Senior Comprehensive as well.

Carapichaima Secondary Comprehensive highlighted their dominance of the Central Zone with a 5-1 beating of Chaguanas Senior Comprehensive at Carapichaima, while Preysal High School and Presentation College Chaguanas played out a 3-3 draw at "Pres".

In another game in the East Zone, hosts San Juan beat Hillview 2-0, with Keston Jackie scoring in the 70th and Dillon Anderson adding the second in the 88th.
