A brace from Akeem Garcia moved St Augustine Secondary to the top of the East Zone standings with a 2-0 victory over arch-rival San Juan North in St Augustine, yesterday in the BGTT/First Citizen Secondary Schools Football League.
In a re-scheduled match between the two teams, defending national and zonal champion gave San Juan, its first lost of the season, bumping the previous group leader down to second spot, still tied on points with El Dorado.

Garcia got his first item in the fifth minute, returning in the 36th minute to notch his second and help earn his team a 2-0 lead in the first half. In the second half, the score stayed the same until time expired giving St Augustine the win and the lead.
