Joint league leader and reigning champion team Real Dimension will challenge third-placed fellow Premier Division outfit, in the second match of Women’s League Football (WoLF) FA Trophy double-header, at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Arima, this evening.

The feature match, which is carded for 8 pm, will follow the match-up between Premier Division joint-leader Trincity National and the lone First Division representative in the last-four, East Zone’s Arima Giants, which begins at 6 pm.

Dimension advanced with a comprehensive 4-0 win over First Division South Zone Pt Fortin Pioneers, almost two weeks ago, with former national Alana Burgin bagging a hat-trick and the other coming from Natasha St Louis. On the same day Malick City disposed of struggling Premier Division’s Defence Force.

Arima Giants, meanwhile, overcame the test of Malabar Superstars with Verlee Duprey scoring the only goal of the match, on Thursday.

The other match at Larry Gomes Stadium on the same day saw an exciting match in which Trincity National snubbed St Augustine SC 2-1. Both sisters Jonelle and Shinelle Warwick were on target, with the latter scoring the winner from a direct free-kick.

The semifinal of the Wolf Big-Eight competition which may determine which team advances to the Premier Division, will commence on Sunday. Step by Step will challenge Debe All Stars, while St Augustine SC takes on St Ann’s Rangers women. The venues and times will be determined today.
