Bethel United avenged a Premier Division League defeat to rivals Mason Hall USSS when it secured a penalty-kicks win in their Tobago Football Association FA Trophy first round encounter at Canaan Ground, Bon Accord on Tuesday night.
Beaten 2-1 in a league clash last week, Bethel came away with a 4-3 penalty-kicks triumph after a 0-0 draw at the end of regulation time to set up a second round meeting with St Clair Coaching School at Plymouth Recreation Ground, Plymouth on Tuesday from 5 pm.
In the first match at Plymouth, Curt Cromarty netted the lone goal to inspire First Division club Mt Grace United to a 1-0 win over Premier Division outfit, Lambeau FC, for a second round meeting with the winner of the Roxborough Lakers and Taylor’s Rental Goal City clash today.
In the two other matches on Tuesday, Black Rock trounced Moriah Youths 4-0 with Akeil Alleyne scoring a hat-trick and Kenvern Marcelle the other, while Leeds United got a double from Valton Brathwaite to lead Leeds United past Stokely Vale, 2-0.
