Kerron Phillips netted a brace as Georgia edged Sidey’s 2-1 to climb to fifth spot on the Tobago Football Association Premier Division at Goodwood Recreation Ground on Saturday. The win carried Georgia to 20 points from 11 matches, the same as fourth placed Stokely Vale, but with an inferior goal-difference.
At the top of the table is Roxborough Lakers with 25 points from its 11 first round matches after it secured back-to-back wins last week to open a two-pointy lead over Bethel United. Lakers first had a default win over Youth Stars United and then slipped past third placed Mason Hall USSS, 2-1 with a Ryan Gray strike and an own goal.
