Dyke Reid netted with a minute left on the clock as Roxborough Lakers twice came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw with Sidey’s FC in the Tobago Football Association Premier Division on Wednesday.

Starting the day, five points out of first place held by Youth Stars and three behind second placed Georgia FC, Sidey’s FC went ahead through Pavel Warrick in 35th minute, but Quane Frank drew Lakers level two minutes before the interval. The see-saw battle swung back in Sidey’s FC favour when Reaneil Stewart netted in the 76th with what looked the match winner until Reid struck in the 89th minute to earn Lakers a draw.

With the drawn results, its second in-a-row after a 2-2 stalemate with Black Rock on Sunday, Sidey’s improved to 15 points from eight matches, one behind Georgia FC, still three adrift of Youth Stars. On Friday, Gereeb Louis and Keon Boucher scored two goals apiece to lead Leeds United to a 6-1 spanking of Moriah Youths in the Championship Division.

Leeds now leads with 17 points from seven matches, three more than Goodwood United while third place Lambeau United has 12 points. Division One is a much closer battle with Belle Garden and Charlotteville Unifiers, joint top with 13 points, followed by Signal Hill United with 12, and Calder Hall, two points back.
