Thanks to a double from Michael Carrington Black Rock United stopped Golden Lane 2-0 in their Digicel Tobago Football Association Big-Seven top-of-the-table clash, at Plymouth, on Wednesday.

The top two teams in the Big-Seven will be promoted to the Premier Division next season.

Black Rock head the standings with a maximum 12 points from four games, while Golden Lane are second with nine points from five matches.

Signal Hill United’s chances of gaining promotion were dealt a serious blow when they were held to a goalless draw by NLCB Mt Grace United, at the Dwight Yorke Stadium.
