James Thomas netted a pair of goals to inspire Carnbee/Mt Pleasant to a 4-0 thrashing of Federal Northside in the Tobago Football Association First Division on Wednesday.
Jason Gel and Dominique Roberts added one each for Carnbee/Mt Pleasant to carry its league leading points tally to 27 from 11 matches, four ahead of new second placed team, 1976 Phoenix.
Phoenix leapfrogged Lambeau by a point after whipping Youth Stars United, 3-2 led by a Brent Cruickshank double.
Ashley Mc Millan also found the back of the net for Phoenix while Akil Thomas got Stars’ consolation item. In the lone Premier Division match, Ashim Winchester solitary strike was enough for Stokely Vale to edge Charlotteville Unifiers 1-0.
The Vale now has 15 points from 11 matches, ten adrift of leaders Georgia FC while Unifiers remained, joint bottom of the 12-team table with four points from eight matches, the same as Earlbrokes, which has played a match more.
