STEPHANO KING’S goal was enough to send Taylor’s Rentals Goal City spiralling into third place on the standings of the Premier Division of the Tobago Football Association.

At Plymouth, King scored the only goal of the match early into the second period and it stood the rest of the way.

But Roxborough Lakers clobbered 1976 FC Phoenix 5-1 in their game at the Canaan No 2 ground.

Prolific goal-scorer Dyke Reid collected a double while Shaquille Beckles, Keilonm Hayling and Akeel Sterling scored one each for Lakers. Melvin Nero netted the consolation.

In the First Division, Carnbee/Mt Pleasant shut out recently demoted Earlbrokes 4-0 at Richmond with Sheldon Bnelfast scoring twice, David Gill and Trevis Deyas getting the other goals.

And Hills United drubbed Federal Northside 6-2 at Patience Hill with both Nigel Alexander and Kandel Joefield scoring two goals each and Esron Hinds and Keral Nelson the others. Juma George and Kern Boodoo got the consolation goals.

At the Signal Hill ground, the home team Signal Hill United edged NLCB Mt Grace 3-2 with Keishon Morgan getting a double strike and Huey Khan the other for the winners while Keville Job and Ruben Baptiste scored for the losing team.

And at Table Piece, Golden Lane got their first victory 1-0 over Mason Hall PYC with a Ryan McKellar goal.
