Keno Proctor scored a hat-trick to lead St Clair Coaching School to a commanding 7-0 thrashing of Hills United to begin defence of its Tobago Football Association FA Trophy on Sunday.

Keon Samuel and Vernon Wilson added two goals each for current FA holder, St Clair, in the round-of-16 win at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet to set up a quarterfinal encounter with Calder Hall.

Calder Hall’s Kelson Wheeler and Aldon Wheeler got a goal each to cancel out David Gill’s strike for Carnbee/Mt Pleasant in a 2-1 triumph at Plymouth Recreation Ground.

Joining St Clair and Calder Hall in the last-eight were 1976 FC Phoenix and Bethel United, both 2-0 winners over Mason Hall USSS and Taylors Rentals Goal City.

Raunille Rivers and Akim Baynes got one each for Phoenix in Sunday’s first match at Bacolet while Akeil Scott and Christopher Mark were on target for Bethel United at the Plymouth.

On Friday, in the  two remaining first round matches  Roxborough Lakers blasted Leeds United 3-0 led by a double from Kirn Harris and Charlotteville Unifiers pipped Lambeau FC 8-7 on sudden-death penalty-kicks after a 0-0 draw.

The winner of the FA competition will collect $20,000 while second gets $10,000 and third, $7,000.
