MARAUDING holders St Clair’s Coaching School blasted their way into the final of this season’s Tobago Football Association FA Cup final.
The Bertille St Clair-coached men were in destructive form when they clobbered 1976 FC Phoenix 9-0 at Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet, Tobago, on Sunday.
Chief goal-scorer Keno Proctor fired in his seventh goals in the last three matches when he grabbed a double on Sunday.
But he was outdone by teammate Keon Samuel who scored a hat-trick while Caron Williams blasted in the other two goals.
The cup defenders will meet Charlotteville Unifiers in the final on Friday, also at the Dwight Yorke Stadium from 7 pm.
Unifiers earned their place in the final via penalty kicks 3-2 over First Division leaders Youth Stars United, after their match ended 0-0 after regulation time.
Phoenix will meet Youth Stars in the earlier game on Friday which is scheduled to kick-off at 5 pm.
Meanwhile, Sidey’s climbed to within two points of Coaching School in the Premier Division after they trounced Stokely Vale 4-1 at Goodwood.
Pavel Warwick scored a double, Ryan Gray and Kester Kent got the other goals for the winners. Akeilon Murphy got the consolation.
Roxborough Lakers shut out Mason Hall USSS 3-0 in the second game at Goodwood. Glenroy Frederick, Solomon Scott and Nimron Toussaint scored one goal each for Lakers.
At Canaan, Lambeau eked out a 1-0 victory over Black Rock on a Delon Dennis goal. Signal Hill United’s chances of closing in on leaders Youth Stars in the First Division, took a hefty blow when they were whipped 5-2 by Golden Lane.
Kerwin Simon was the two-goal hero for Golden Lane who also got goals from Kurtnell Joseph, Steve Kirk and Heshbon Charles.
And Hope Village Milan beat Calder Hall 2-0 on goals by Chris Cupid and Vaughn Edwards also in First Division action.
