T&T Women's U-20 vs Cayman Islands
Typography

Mexico (6 points, +15 GD) and Trinidad & Tobago (6 points, +6 GD) will meet in a top-of-the-table clash on Tuesday to determine which will capture the Group B title at the 2014 CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship (CWU20).

Though both have already earned semifinal places, the Mexicans – thanks to superior goal difference -- need only a draw to secure first place, while the Soca Princesses must come away with all three points.

Following that titanic tilt at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex, the previously eliminated duo of host Cayman Islands and Honduras will square off.

Trinidad made history on Sunday, defeating Cayman 4-0 to seal a place in the tournament’s knockout rounds for the first time in six attempts. Team captain Anique Walker has been outstanding, scoring in each of the Caribbean side’s first two matches.

Mexico’s potent offense has caught the eyes of observers. The Tricolor achieved its best-ever scoring stretch over two games in the competition, tallying 16 goals thus far. Tanya Samarzich has struck for a pair of hat-tricks and after the games played on Sunday is perched at the scoring chart summit. She now has nine career CWU20 goals, which is makes her level with the USA’s Kelly Wilson for fourth on the all-time list.

The Cayman Islands (0 point, -10 GD) and Honduras (0 point, -11 GD) are looking for their first-ever CWU20 points.

Which team will reign supreme in Group B?
