CAP OFF Youths triumphed in the Central Football Association (CFA) Under-14 category on August 19, as the Plipdeco-sponsored Under-8, Under-10, Under-12 and Under-14 semi-finals and finals took place at the Chaguanas Indoor Sports Facility.
Cap Off Youths beat Todds Road 3-2 to claim the title, with goals from Christian Ransome, Jabari McKell and Tyrike Muhammed, while Chike Cuffie and Alex Edwards responded for Todds Road.
In the semi-final phase, Cap Off Youths edged Marabella Family Crisis 2-1, with Ransome and Kyle John scoring for Cap Off and Shoaib Khan responding for Marabella, while Todds Road earned a 3-0 default victory over Blast FC.
Crown Trace trounced Edinburgh 500 4-0 to capture the Under-12 title with a pair from Malik Robinson and one apiece from Keilon Burnette and Dajeon Windsor.
Crown Trace spanked Cap Off Youths 3-0 in the semi-final round, courtesy items from Robinson, Burnette and Isaiah Paul, while Edinburgh got a 3-0 default win over Blast.
Jkwon Bailey scored a pair to guide Cap Off Youths to a 2-0 win over Edinburgh in the Under-10 final, while Tabaquite FC benefitted from a hat-trick by Joshu Waterman and one apiece from Jadan Baptiste and Tyrese Harding to crush Gairy John Coaching School 5-0.
During the prize-giving ceremony, the Most Goals trophies in the respective categories went to Cameron Burke of Crown Trace (Under-8), Jkwon Bailey of Cap Off Youths (Under-10), Keilon Burnette of Crown Trace (Under-12) and Christian Ransome of Cap Off Youths (Under- 14).
