Jerome Charles and Vladimir Henderson-Suite scored two goals each as Queen’s Park CC romped to a 10-0 mauling of newcomer Saddle Hill Hot Spurs in the Northern Football Association FA Trophy first round on Wednesday.

 Akil Glasgow, Troy Thompson, Benedict Barrett, Mikhail Awai, Jason Devenish and Josh Du Coudray all added one each for the Parkites in the one-sided contest at Dibe Recreation Ground, Long Circular to set up a second round encounter with Petit Valley on Wednesday.

Also advancing to the second round were New Millenium and CMFA after contrasting wins over Cosmos Eagles and FC1 respectively.

In the opener at Long Circular, CMFA pipped FC1, 1-0 to set up a second round meeting with Maple FC while New Millenium hammered   Cosmos Eagles 6-0 inspired by a double from Brandon Gooding and now faces RSSR. 

Last year, Police defeated Queen’s Park in the NFA FA decider.
