Youth players from the Eastern Counties Football Union (ECFU) are invited for screening sessions tomorrow, at the Cumana Recreation Ground.
The sessions are being conducted by the ECFU, under the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) Centre of Excellence programme.
Players from the Matura to Matelot region will be invited to try out for the zone’s respective Under-16, Under-15 and Under-13 outfits. Those players will be screened during the 9 am scheduled session.
At 3 pm tomorrow, players from Cumuto, Tamana and Valencia will be looked at during another session at the Valencia Recreation Ground.
And players from Sangre Grande and environs will be assessed during the final session, carded for April 13, from 3 pm, at the Ojoe Road Recreation Ground.
These sessions will be part of a TTFF coaching programme modelled from the present “C” licence courses which are being held by the Federation.
Conducting the sessions will be ex-national players Shurland David and Arnold Dwarika, who are both the coach and assistant at North East Stars, Philbert Charles, Lloyd Solomon, Mitchell Jones and Devon Bobb.
