Keagan Bacchus has been selected to represent the Mid-Continent University men's soccer team on the 2011 All-TranSouth First Team.Bacchus, a 6-foot sophomore forward from Pt. Fortin, Trinidad and Tobago, received the third most votes of any player on the All-Conference team. He was second on the Cougars in goals (7) and points (18), while ranking third on the squad with 4 assists. His presence at the top was felt all season, as Bacchus he tallied points in five consecutive matches during the middle of the season.
The TranSouth All-Conference teams were announced on Friday in conjunction with the TranSouth Championship match. Bethel University's Mario Vila Boa was named the TranSouth's Player of the year, Bethel's Melvin Belong was honored as the TranSouth Coach of the Year, and Daniel Dunleavy of Martin Methodist was chosen as the 2011 TranSouth Freshman of the Year.
