JASON Scotland could hardly hide his disappointment after another Swansea City stalemate.
Scotland's prolific recent form is in stark contrast to that of his team-mates, who missed a string of chances to extend that advantage and earn Swansea their first win in six league games.
And they were made to pay for their wastefulness when Sheffield United captain Chris Morgan equalised in a rare away attack four minutes from time.
The result was Swansea's fifth consecutive draw, a run that has seen them slip away slightly from the play-off spots.
"I'm really disappointed to come out with a point," said Scotland.
"For the majority of the game we were on top and probably could have finished winning by a couple of goals.
"But obviously we didn't and to concede in the 86th minute was quite hard.
"It's frustrating. There have been games this season we should have got something out of and we got nothing and games like today where we should have got more than a point.
"Today was a big game. We were up for it so to come out with a point is frustrating."
After United had Darius Henderson sent off in the first minute of the second half, Swansea seemed able to carve open their opponents at will.
Chance after chance fell to Swansea, but all, apart from Scotland's spot-kick, were fluffed or repelled by Paddy Kenny in the Blades goal.
"We had more than enough chances and we feel hard done by conceding because we played most of the football," said the 30-year-old Trinidad and Tobago international, who registered his eighth goal of the campaign.
"I'm always pleased when the ball goes in the back of the net and hopefully I can keep going," he added.
