Former Lebanon based and San Juan Jabloteh forward Kerry Noray has been finding difficulty finding firm ground this season with Caledonia AIA and will now take up a month to month contract with defending League champions Joe Public. Noray finalized his move to Macoya on Tuesday, the final day of the TT Pro League transfer window.

Joe Public’s general manager Richard Abraham confirmed the signing speaking with ‘ttproleague.com’.

He said, “We have decided to take Noray on a month to month contract and see how it goes from here on.”

Noray made to free transfer from Caledonia AIA, the club he had only join during the pre-season month of March.

Despite being Jabloteh’s top goal scorer in 2002 and 2003, Noray’s career took a nose dive when he returned from Lebanon in 2006. He failed to feature much for coach Terry Fenwick due to a groin injury, which preceded his failure to an extended contract with the San Juan based club at the end of 2006.

The former Safa FC player has also failed to impress technical director Jamal Shabazz and coach Jerry Moe while at the Morvant based club with just a few appearances this season.

Abraham also explained that Noray was fitting his bill at Caledonia and gave him the freedom to join another club on a free contract.

However his new bosses at Joe Public are hopeful for the player to return to his regular form.

“We are hoping that he gets serious and then maybe we can consider signing him on full contract next season,” said Abraham.

“Kerry is a good player and once he gets his act together then we can see good football from him and this is what we are hoping for,” ended the Joe Public manager.
