San Juan Jabloteh team administrator Wesley Webb has been warded at the San Fernando General Hospital after suffering broken ribs in a car accident on Monday night.
According to Webb, his tyre blew out while heading home around 8pm on Monday night along the Uriah Butler Highway in the vicinity of Couva forcing his car to run off the road.
“I needed to get that tyre fixed but I have been really busy lately,” said Webb.
But the team administrator was in high spirits of a quick recovery.
He told ‘ttproleague.com’, “I’m feeling great. It’s just a couple broken ribs. I’ll just have to beef up my intake and generate my blood back to normal and everything would be ok very soon.”
However Webb was unsure if he would be released from the hospital in time for Jabloteh’s First Citizens Cup semifinal clash against rivals W Connection at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium on Friday.
Webb a former Jabloteh and W Connection player had only took up the role of team administrator at the beginning of 2007.
