All Sport Promo-tions Ltd has called for the intervention of the the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (T&TFF) to investigate the final Super League fixture between Crab Connection and Wasa.
That game ended 15-13 in favour of WASA.
But according to marketing director of All Sport, Anthony Harford, the company was "left with little choice but to refer the matter to the T&TFF" after the company had been receiving a "barrage of phone calls and e-mails from clubs, fans and sponsors," most expressing concern about the result.
The point of contention seems to be the individual award won by Connection's Marlon Warner whose 10 goals in a losing effort assured that he finished as the league's leading scorer.
Technical director of the league Douglas James has instructed that all match reports, including the referee's report be passed on to the T&TFF who are the final arbiters in all matters relative to the League.
All Sport Promotions has a four-year franchise to run the League on behalf of the T&TFF.
