THE Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) decided the recent National Super League match between WASA Clean & White and L-Sporto Crab Connection, which ended in a 15-13 victory for WASA, will be null and void.
As a result, the game will be recorded on the standings as a no-result with no points nor goals awarded to either team. CFU secretary Harold Taylor was given the mandate by the TTFF to investigate the result of the September 24 encounter, which saw Marlon Warner netting ten goals for Crabs. A week ago, Taylor met with officials of both clubs and, after completing his scheduled five-day inquiry, handed his findings to the TTFF who made the final decision over the weekend. Crabs, the 2003 champs, were dethroned by the “Eastern Lions” Joe Public for this year’s league title.
