JOE PUBLIC has lost their appeal against their semi-final loss to Valtrin in the Bmobile National Super League Knockout competition, and the 2010 season’s debutants will meet TTEC in the final on October 24.
The final will be staged at the Marvin Lee Stadium in Macoya, starting at 3.30 pm.
In their semi-final on October 10, at the Macoya venue, Valtrin prevailed 1-0. But, a few days later, Joe Public launched an appeal to the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) Disciplinary Committee over the use of an unregistered player by Valtrin. But the Committee dismissed the appeal and Valtrin will now set their sights on the knockout title.
TTEC, last year’s runners-up, whipped St Francois Nationals 2-0 in the other semi-final, at the Palo Seco Velodrome.
