A hat-trick of goals from Keron Manswell propelled his St Ann’s Rangers outfit to a comfortable 4-1 victory over Marabella Family Crisis Centre and also affirm them a place in Saturday’s Republic Cup National Youth Football League Under-13 semi-finals.
Seconds later however, Marabella’s Naseem Duncan salvaged a consolation goal for the southbased team, but it was indeed, too little too late.
St Ann’s Rangers will now do battle with San Juan Jabloteh in Saturday’s semi-final which kicks off at 11am. In Jabloteh’s quarter- final clash, they moved on to the next stage by conquering Ralph’s Coaching School 3-1. A brace from Tyrique Sutherland in the 13th and 22nd minutes propelled the San Juan unit to a crucial 3-1 victory. Following Sutherland’s goals, teammate Kaihim Thomas extended their lead to 3-0 in the 29th minute.
Kyle Jattan however, was able to grab Ralph Coaching School’s lone goal in the 40th minute.
The division’s second semi-final will feature Wez Pro squaring off against SKFY FA with the former defeating St Clair Coaching School 5-4 via kicks from penalty spot after a 1-1 result. SKFY FA advanced after getting the better of Adrenaline FA 3-0.
